Who am I and how did I get here?
Hej! My name is Skye and I'm 22 years old from Sydney, Australia. After finishing school and university in Australia, I decided it would be super cool to work in the Arctic Circle. Originally, I applied with the intention of working as a bartender, however, the company said that they only had vacancies for husky handlers. Why not?! So, I left Australia in December 2024, and had so much fun in my first season, that I decided to take on more responsibility, and do it all again properly. Now I'm working as a husky guide in Lapland, and loving (almost) every second of it.
